Sinkholes of Argostoli, Katavothres Kefalonia

The sinkholes of Argostoli are interesting geographical phenonemons in Kefalonia island: the sea water is absorbed by small caves! The famous sinkholes – which are known also as Katavothres – are located near Argostoli, next to the coastal road, which connects the capital of Kefalonia, Lassi, Katavothres and Saint Theodore Lighthouse.
