Lixouri is the second largest town in Kefalonia island, which has a small coast to swim in the sea: it is called simply as Lixouri beach, but some maps mention it as Fikia beach. The beach of Lixouri is situated just a few minutes walk away from the port and from the central square. If you are looking for a place to swim after a sightseeing in a warm day, just head to south on the pedestrian street by the sea.
Lixouri beach (Fikia) offer shallow seabed of coarse sand, where te sea colours are emerald due to the golden shore.
