The longest sandy beach in Lassi, Kefalonia: Makris Gialos beach is a great place, where the surrounding hills are filled with pine forests. Lassi is a famous tourist resort of Kefalonia island near the capital, Argostoli, and has many nice beaches with golden sand, but Makris Gialos is probably the most famous of them all.
There are some travellers, who prefer to mention this place as Costa Costa beach instead the name of Makris Gialos, but these are slightly different. Costa Costa is just a beach bar, which is located in the southern part of this beach and offer a lot of umbrellas and sunbeds for rent, but the entire coast about 600 meters long is known as Makris Gialos beach.
