Megali Ammos beach in Kefalonia is a charming beach with golden sand near the airport, on its north side. This beach belongs to the organized places of the area, but usually there are quite enough space for everyone, and the coast is not filled totally by parasols and sunbeds.
The access of Megali Ammos beach is quite easy, just follow the road that goes around Kefalonia airport and connects Ammes beach, Megali Ammos and Spasmata beach.
