Paliouras beach in Kefalonia island is a secluded hidden gem, which can be accessed only by boat, or by hiking down from the hill above. The interesting shapes and colours of the seabed can be seen from coastal road which leads to Antisamos beach from Sami village, but there is no an official hiking trail to access Paliouras beach, due to the local farmhouses and fences. When you find the way down between dogs, goats and bushes, you will be usually alone.

This secluded beach is great for snorkel, but before swimming don’t forget to wear your water shoes: Paliouras beach is filled by stones and rocks.
