De Bosset Bridge in Kefalonia

One of the most important sights in Argostoli is De Bosset bridge, which is also a nice pedestrian street between the capital and Drapano village. The bridge is a significant historical building from the British era, built in 1813 by Charles Philip De Bosset, a governor of Kefalonia island.

De Bosset bridge, or as the locals say, Devossetos is the longest stone bridge not just in Greece, but also in Europe with its length of 689,9 meters.
